What a start to 2019

Well what a time we've had here at Sugar and Spiced Cakes. Can't believe where the time has disappeared to. As you may have seen on the website and social media we have added a few new elements to the business which are very exciting, but have taken some time to get organized.

Christmas and New Year was filled with family and friends and went far too quickly, and now it's February already!!! With a somewhat slow start to January and the return to school and work it's taken the Middlehurst household sometime to get back into gear with the early and very dark mornings. We're there now - almost - and have so many exciting things planned for the coming year.

Always trying to stay ahead of the many holidays, celebration days and hey days that seem to populate our year nowadays, we have come up with a lovely pressie idea not only for Mothers Day, but for any time of the year really. I can be for a special mum, friend, wife or girlfriend, Nanna or that crazy auntie we all have and have no idea what to get. Cupcake Bouquets!! These are proving highly popular so if you'd like one for Mother's Day don't delay or you might be disappointed!!

On a visit to one of our regular haunts over Christmas a chance meeting and fluke discussion with the lovely Lucinda Watts of Sussex Country Gardener Sugar and Spiced Cake School has been born. Terribly excited about this and not an avenue I had expected the business to branch into, but over the last few weeks it's become clear that there are those of you out there who want to know how to decorate and produce professional cakes for your friends and family. If we can pass on our knowledge and introduce you to the wonderful world of cake decoration it brings us great joy. Read on to find out more.

We have confirmed 5 days spread over the coming year to see how much interest there is and to see what it is you're all looking for in the lessons. Next year all being well there will be 1 if not 2 a month ranging from full days to consecutive full days for full showstopper cakes!!

Each Class is tailored to beginners or those with no experience at all and is aimed to be fun, informative and highly creative. We have an early bird offer which lasts up to 6 weeks prior to the class so take advantage of this amazing price before it changes.
